“Students have difficulty analyzing sinusoidal functions, especially when the function models a context”.

We will review what each parameter in the sinusoidal equation represents. We will also link how questions in a specific context relates to these equation parameters.

The equation is stated as: h(t) = 4sin(0.15t + 1.57) + 6. It should read: 

h(t) = 4sin(0.51t + 1.57) + 6. The order of the numerals for the ‘b’ value were mistakenly reversed.]
