Each of the full courses, Math 30-1 and Math 30-2, come with essentially the same content, but given different names. The naming refers to the different purpose for which these materials are accessed.

The original intent of the course design was for diploma preparation. It was meant for the student who had completed the bulk of the course and was seeking specific direction on how the outcomes will be assessed on a diploma exam. As such, I believe that the practice questions, and the items on the practice exams, are at a diploma level standard.

But it was pointed out to me by a student, that these resources could also be used to provide support as a person makes their way through the course from start to finish. Hence, the notion of “getting a leg up” came into being. A comprehensive and thorough resource package, that a student could access at any time and whenever needed, could give him or her an added advantage; a leg up.
